In UNMENTIONABLES, I wanted to take a stark, context-free look at women's undergarments. I collected the personal underwear of twenty women and used it to create photograms. The x-ray like quality of the images gives the viewer a voyeuristic feeling of looking at something they're not supposed to see. The somewhat abstract look caused by the light being filtered by layers of fabric yielded some images of surprising beauty.
